Therapeutic Laser

Laser therapy can be very beneficial and effective at reducing pain and inflammation. It is used for a variety of conditions including surgical incisions, arthritis, ear infections, urinary tract disease, neurologic and spinal conditions, and musculoskeletal injuries. Acute injuries such as swelling from trauma or infection can be treated with just a few sessions.

Chronic conditions such as arthritis, lick granulomas, and urinary tract disease may take longer to treat. Typically, treatment involves an induction phase every other day for 6-12 treatments until improvement is noted. Then, a transition phase involves gradually reducing the frequency but still maintaining the improvement gained. A maintenance phase is last, involving once every 3-4 weeks to continue the benefits of reduced pain and a better quality of life. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and the treatment plan will be modified based on how your pet responds.
